When Eclipse Energy Manifests
A lesson from the Universe on how to predict when the energy of eclipses will manifest as physical events.
(Hi, I’m an astrology enthusiast! This is my first post here, but there’s more to come! :] As a sidereal astrologer, planetary positions in this post are based on the sidereal system, but the concepts also apply to the tropical system.)
Eclipse energy can affect us until the next round of eclipses, roughly about six months, according to Vedic astrologer Joni Patry on her YouTube channel.
Back in April, I discovered that the solar eclipse on 29 March involved four planets conjunct the fixed star Scheat, the fixed star of sorrows, losses and suffering. This fixed star is located at 5° Pisces in the sidereal Zodiac and 29° Pisces in the tropical Zodiac. When the American Civil War began, Mercury and Neptune were within a 3° orb of Scheat. During the recent solar eclipse, Venus and Neptune were within a 1° orb of Scheat, while Mercury and the North Node were within 2°.
I predicted that major disasters and social instabilities might occur over the next six months [1], but I couldn’t pinpoint a narrower window of when these events might unfold, as timing of events wasn’t my strong suit. However, based on the events of the past few weeks, it seems the Universe may have revealed a technique to me.
Mars Quincunx Pluto and Saturn-Neptune Conjunction:
Nuclear Tension between America and the Middle East,
Storms and Floods in France
In May, Joni Patry mentioned an alignment around 21 June that could trigger treacherous events: Mars in Leo forming a 6/8 relationship (quincunx) with Pluto in Capricorn, and an another 6/8 relationship with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Pisces [2]. When two sets of planets each form a 6/8 relationship with a mutual planet (shown in the chart below by the yellow “V”), it creates what astrologers call a Finger of God, or Yod. This configuration can signify something karmic and disharmonious. Notably, Saturn and Neptune at 7° Pisces were positioned close to Scheat at 5° Pisces.
Pluto represents nuclear power. Both Saturn and Neptune symbolize oil. Mars signifies war, conflict and aggression. Pisces can represent the sea and water-related incidents. These were the celestial hints about the nature of the upcoming event. Joni predicted potential oil-related issues, such as tanker sinkings or pipeline problems.
At that time, I tried to identify which countries might be affected. Specifically, I was interested in knowing whether anything severe could happen to Japan, as the prophecy of a major natural disaster striking Japan in July was a boiling topic in East Asia. I didn’t have Japan’s chart, but Joni Patry had shown the effectiveness of using a country’s leader’s chart to assess the situation of a country, so I dug out the charts of Japanese prime minister and emperor. However, I found no clear indications from their charts. Instead I realized that this alignment hit some Western leaders’ charts, such as U.S. president Donald Trump and French president Emmanuel Macron. Mars would be exactly on Trump's ascendant at 7° Leo. Meanwhile, Macron’s ascendant at 5° Capricorn would be near transiting Pluto, and his ascendant lord at 7° Leo would be conjunct transiting Mars too.
Then, on 22 June, Trump suddenly bombed Iran’s nuclear facility despite his earlier statement of giving Iran a two-week deadline. Global concerns surged over whether Iran would retaliate, particularly by restricting oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has a history of threatening to bomb oil tanks in the strait, and indeed it had previously bombed a Greek oil tanker.
The event aligned remarkably well with the quincunx configuration:
✔ Around 21 June
✔ Pluto’s nuclear power
✔ Saturn and Neptune’s oil issue
✔ Mars’ conflict
✔ Pisces’ concern with the sea
Fortunately for us, Iran appeared to restrain itself from responding forcefully, otherwise who knows what that bombing might have escalated into.
Three days later, France was hit by severe thunderstorms accompanied with hail and nationwide floods. The storms killed two people, injured 17 and left 100,000 homes without electricity. Disastrously Piscean.
Neptune and Saturn Stationing During Conjunction:
Floods in America,
Another Big Flood in France
Since Saturn and Neptune are slow-moving planets, their conjunction can last for weeks, especially when they are about to change direction. Throughout this summer, they remain next to the fixed star Scheat.
On 4 July, Neptune stationed then turned retrograde. That day, Texas experienced severe flooding, resulting in the deaths of over 100 people.
A few days later, Saturn also entered retrograde. It stationed on 13 July, and the day before, Texas suffered another flood. Besides Texas, since 4 July, multiple American states have experienced flooding.
In France, on 12-13 July, storms struck the southwestern part of the country, particularly affecting the Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude, and Hérault departments [3].
What the Universe Has Taught Me
Eclipses reveal what may unfold over the next six months, but to narrow down the timing of events into smaller windows and gain more detailed insights into their nature, it’s necessary to examine planetary transits. Special alignments during these transits, especially when they occur near the planetary degrees highlighted by the eclipses, can trigger significant events. Additionally, analyzing the charts of countries’ leaders to see if any sensitive points in their charts are impacted by these transits can help us figure out which nations might be affected.
What Is Next…
Unfortunately, Saturn and Neptune will continue to be within a 2° orb of Scheat during the upcoming round of eclipses in September. Will we continue to face sorrows, losses and suffering, particularly in the form of water-related disasters?
Furthermore, during the solar eclipse on 21 September, Venus at 9° Leo will quincunx the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Pisces, as well as Pluto at 7° Capricorn. So, instead of Mars forming 6/8 relationships with these planets, this time it will be Venus. While Venus is softer than Mars and generally considered a benefic planet, it doesn’t mean it only brings positive events. Venus presents women, love, fine food, luxury and cruise ships. Additionally, Venus will square Uranus at 7° Taurus. Uranus can bring surprises.
Now, we can all use these hints to guess what the Universe is cooking this time. My guess: a cruise ship accident, and shocking scandals related to women.
